Once there, she was sold to a brothel owner; he raped her and tortured her for days until she finally agreed to sleep with over ten men a day, each day of the week, all year(Human Trafficking). This case sets a typical example of a trafficking situation that happens countless times across the globe. Moreover, the underlying truth about sex traffickers is just this: there are approximately twenty to thirty million slaves in the world today which generates an annual profit of over $32 billion every year. Innocent children are being forced into marriage of individuals over twice their age and are being forced to be have sexual relationships with these individuals.
